Located within close proximity to the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, the Savannah Conference Hotel is ideally situated for both business travelers and those traveling more leisurely on vacation to break their journey. From the airport just follow the signs for Pooler, GA: the hotel is close to Savannah’s historical city center, just four miles away, and easy to find on the right hand side. Within easy reach of the Savannah Conference Hotel is the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, as well as Oglethorpe Speedway Park and, for those of you who are beach lovers, Tybee Island with its delightful isthmus of golden sand shoreline. Savannah State University is also close by.

Guest Rooms

The Savannah Conference Hotel features 155 generously sized guest rooms, spread over two floors. This hotel was last renovated in 2005 and now features 135 rooms for non-smoking guests, plus 7 suites. Guests’ rooms with full disabled facilities are also available if requested. Rooms are available for checking-in from 3.00pm onwards and, when guests are ready to leave, we respectfully request that guests vacate their rooms by 11.00am at the latest to enable guest rooms to be prepared for guests who are due to arrive.

Each guest room is furnished with a choice of king-sized or two queen-sized beds and plenty of pillows to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep. Richly colored soft furnishings complete the décor, each room light with aqua-colored walls to attract the bright daylight. Those rooms designated as non-smoking areas have been provided for the comfort of many of our guests: there are, however, communal rooms where guests can relax in comfort.

High Speed Internet Service

Guest rooms feature their own entry hallway as well as keyless-entry facility. Rooms are comfortably but simply furnished, with two-seater settee and a well-defined work area where the latest technology enables guests to access high speed Internet facilities as well as a telephone with voicemail and the advantage of free local calls. Guests staying at the Savannah Conference Hotel are provided with the free use of our business center where additional office equipment is available for guests’ benefits. The Savannah Conference Hotel is able to provide 15,000 square feet of meeting space, shared between five meeting rooms. There is also a banqueting room available that is capable of holding up to 800 people.

Amenities for Guests

Bathrooms are en-suite, each one airy and inviting, with plenty of space and fitted with all the latest in bathroom facilities. Guests can take advantage of the individually controlled air conditioning, with each room supplied with its own thermostat, as well as other amenities supplied for the guests’ comfort and convenience. These include each room being supplied with a microwave oven and refrigerator; coffee maker and a supply of coffee; an iron and ironing board that has been supplied to each guest room; as well as a color TV and clock radio complete with alarm. A hair dryer is also an integral amenity, in each room.

Guests are provided with free parking during their stay at the Savannah Conference Hotel and a complimentary continental breakfast is included in the price of guests’ room tariff. Vending machines, however, are also kept well-stocked on the hotel premises should guests require additional snacks during times when our restaurants and cafes are closed. Should guests require the use of a roll-away bed or a crib, just ask at the hotel’s front desk. Safety deposit boxes are also available from the front desk for guests’ additional peace of mind with regards security.
